SCHOOL CLOSINGS
HISD: HISD schools will be closed on Friday, February 4, due to expected inclement weather. Today, schools will dismiss at regular time. Parents should be aware that HISD staff will work to load buses quickly today in order to deliver children to their homes on time. All athletic events, after school activities and field trips scheduled for Thursday and Friday have been cancelled.
ALIEF ISD: All after-school activities for Thursday have been cancelled. This includes tutorials, the Night High School, the after-school program and the YMCA program.
LA PORTE ISD: Will release students from school two hours early on Thursday, Feb. 3. In addition, all extracurricular activities for Thursday, Feb. 3, and Friday, Feb. 4, have been cancelled.
BARBERS HILL ISD: On Thursday, Feb. 3rd – secondary students will be released at 11:30 a.m., elementary students will be released at 12:30 p.m.
STAFFORD MSD: All schools will dismiss Thursday following the early dismissal schedule. Dismissals will be: PreK and Kindergarten Students at 10:45 a.m. Students in grades 1 through 6 at 11:30 a.m. Middle and High Schools at 12:30 p.m. SAEC Students at 12:30 p.m. All afterschool activities for Thursday and before-school activities for Friday are cancelled.
